ICONIQ delivered a range of services for the renovated Center Building, slated to become the new headquarters of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. These services encompassed a 3D Scan Survey, Precise Model Coordinates, and Plum/Flatness Analysis, as well as Precise Detail Capture and Analysis for Historic Conservation (Scan/GPR).
Additionally, ICONIQ provided Moisture/Humidity/Vibration Sensory solutions (Field Sensor IOTs), conducted Detailed Construction Phasing, Site Logistics Constructability Studies, and Mockups, and implemented 4D/5D modeling. The project also involved Existing and New MEP Install Sequencing, system install location verification (LOD 400/500), 3D Coordination Management (VDC Manager), Progress Tracking (Scan/Photos/4D), Turnover Asset Database Management (Cobie/Owner Defined), and Equipment Identification.
The comprehensive design-build endeavor encompassed architectural, engineering, historic preservation, construction, security, commissioning, and related services necessary for the renovation of the 270,000 SF building.
